Information: Born in England and raised in Italy, Marc Philipe later lived in Holland for a decade before returning to Milan to pursue fashion photography. His career soon led him to London and Paris, where, once settled in France, his passion for antiques and modern design guided him toward art dealing, furniture design, and ultimately, back to painting.
A self-taught artist, Marcâs formative âschoolâ was his constant engagement with art and designâfrom 18th-century craftsmanship to Art Deco, from Renaissance masters to modernism, with a particular admiration for Impressionism. What began as a youthful pastime has become his lifelong devotion.
As Marc explains:Â âThe most important thing is that my work is not tied to any artist or era. What I do is to innovate, not follow. My signature is in my painting.â
